Shadows...

Name: Ajay Lenning

Age: 14

Hometown: Gigarte

Appearance: A boy about five feet in height. Often looks serious and angry except when encountering pain (then he's all smiles) or on a hot day (has a disgruntled, uncomfortable look). Has dusty red hair that sweeps into a crescent shaped bang and black eyes. Has a very pale complexion from living underground most of his life. Wears black, long sleeved shirt, dark blue jeans, a typical back pack, and a worn witch's hat (it’s supposed to be some kind of family heirloom).

Personality:
From birth, Ajay has had a very cold, sadistic personality, which is surprising considering he comes from a very warm family. He has only ever been known to smile when in the presence of pain but is usually never the one inflicting it. In fact, he has been known to walk up to whoever is hurting the other person with a creepy smile on his face and then knocking the person down with a well placed smack. He never explains why, although a person with a more romantics personality would say he's a nice guy underneath.

He is a very big believer in earning what you get and will never help another unless he feels like you actually need it. He also looks down at people who never try to earn their keep or complain about this or that and if he should ever catch you doing that he would probably smack you across the head. Likewise, he never accepts charity and has yet to be found asking even his parents for help.

Perhaps the oddest fact about him is that he couldn't care less about the destruction Lenoilla. In fact, he's happy about it, a nearly blasphemous thing to enjoy when you live in Gigarte! Ajay could never stand wide open spaces and is much happier in cold, enclosed areas. To top it off, he loves poison, dark, and ghost pokemon, so Lenoilla is the perfect place for him to satisfy his dark personality.

Due to frequent family trips to Mount Carello, Ajay managed to grow fairly resistant to the cold, often taking a walk out in the snow with his usual clothes and a light jacket on. Unfortunately to counter this, he is extremely weak to the heat. Even a sunny morning is enough to fell him, so ever since he became a pokemon trainer he sleeps in shady regions and only travels from late in the afternoon to sunrise.

Biography:
Ajay was born to a kind, loving family within the caverns of Gigarte. From the moment he was born he was the dark, secretive man he grew up to be, and at the age of five knew rather disturbing things that most children his age never learned. In fact, while cutsey pokemon like pikachu and cool pokemon like charzard were becoming the favorites of his neighbors, he grew to love the poison type and quickly learned the names of various poisons and their antidotes (or lack thereof). His parents, thinking it good for a child to be aware of life's dangers, encouraged him in his obsession but made sure to explain the consequences of what he was learning if he should ever apply it.

As years past, Ajay continued down his self-imposed road, becoming distant with the other kids and even something of a boogey man to them. This of course, led to his neighbors thinking him as demented and a delinquent, so Ajay never had many friends. The only people who ever seemed to get close to him were his parents whose advice he took seriously and to heart.

Not that his parents weren't surprised when he came home one day and said, "I think it would be nice to travel as a pokemon trainer." Aside from his interest in the poison type, he had never shown any interest in traveling or pokemon training. Even so, his parents took his interest seriously and never tried to discourage it.

A few days before his fourteenth birthday, he came home to find that his parents had left. They left a note saying that they trusted him to make his own dream come true and said that they hoped they would forgive them for 'dropping him of the cliff.' To get him started, they left behind two eggs: a mudkip egg and an abandoned stunky egg they found in his favorite city- Lenoilia.

He forgave them naturally.

Starting Pokemon:
Pokemon 1:
Name: Dropwort
Species: Mudkip
Gender: Male
Level: 5
Moves: Tackle and growl
Personality: A little wimp who’d hang back during a fight and then be the first to nab the rewards. He’d much rather complain and lounge around rather than fight or participate in much of anything. He’s rather scared of Ajay since he’s pretty much the embodiment of everything Ajay hates.

Pokemon 2:
Name: Ammonia
Species: Stunky
Gender: Female
Level: 7
Moves: Scratch, Focus Energy, Poison Gas, and Screech
Personality: A cheeky little skunk who likes to prod a bit of fun at her trainer and others. She’s the one most loyal and trusted by Ajay and is far more experienced in fighting than any of his other pokemon.

Items:
Antidote x1
Duskball x2
Pokeballx2
What is the biscuit's name?: Bertha

Other Notes: (Will edit in time)
